My rough and tumbly, soft and sensitive little Elodie is officially five!
Ingrid couldn't join her sisters for our traditional sister's birthday picture because she was having a fight with a hairbrush and losing.
Yes, I offered to fix Danica's flip flops to the right feet but she wouldn't let me. She let me and the entire neighbourhood know.
Ingrid prepared the piñata. She loves doing stuff like that.
Way to go Grandma Di!
All lego sets had to be opened and put together on the spot.
And now for a glimpse into Elodie's world... at 5:
She has the smallest bedroom of all the girls. It just happened that way. When we moved here she was just one and still in a crib. She had no opinion so we put her next to Ingrid's room. We didn't think it would matter if her room was smaller.
We have rearranged her room a dozen times to maximize the space. I like it this way but it won't last long. Danica photobombed with a little snuggle in Elodie's bed.
Her current favourite book is Little Miss Naughty. I think it just might be an inspiration for her. And she loves m&ms.
She loves books and "reads" them to herself all the time.
Her Regatta alien came for a tea party. And can you spot the accidental happy face on her very used table?
This little girls loves nail polish and has claimed every bottle in the house as her own even though it isn't.
Elodie has a serious affection for beanie boos.
Born to rule. Absolutely true.
Playing doctor with Ingrid who just had a baby.
Elodie wanted a rainbow cake this year. It looked a lot different in my head.
Her meal request was Chinese food.
Her fortune cookie fortune.
She prefers vanilla to chocolate.
It's piñata time!
Happy birthday, beautiful girl!
