I think St. Patrick's Day is pretty fun. Perhaps it's because it's another one of those one-and-done kind of holidays where everything happens and un-happens in a short 24-hour period. So much less pressure. Ingrid digs it pretty hard, too.
For the past several years St. Patrick's Day has occurred during March Break. So it's kind of fun to get to spend it together doing green things.
In anticipation of the day, Ingrid wanted to go buy some celebratory stuff at the dollar store. She carefully and thoughtfully chose things for each sister but Danica wasn't interested.
But Elodie was game!
Soon enough we found ourselves doing some crafts in the playroom. Not exactly St. Patrick's Day kind of crafts but when you're two years old, do you really care?
Danica marks her territory whenever she gets the chance. Why aren't all crayons washable?
Ingrid wanted to "brainstorm" ideas for St. Patrick's day and make a chart out of it. Danica had other ideas and decorated it as she saw fit.
