It's almost that time of year again. I pulled out the Christmas lights. We'll be putting them up soon. Last year we mixed miniature with large lights. I prefer miniature. Derek prefers large. I compromised for the sake of our very first decorating season together. This year it'll be all minis.
I can't believe how many people already have them up and on around here. It's really pretty but still too early. I hate that people put them up so early only to take them down the very next day after Christmas. The Christmas season is 12 days starting on Christmas Day. You must have your lights up for the whole twelve days after - not four weeks before!
But I almost don't want to put them up either. It took me a whole weekend last January to get these all tidy and put away.
