tiny tree

This is one of my all-time favorite Christmas decorations. It belonged to my mother, given to her by her niece, Barbara. It's made of coat hangers, garland and Christmas lights and I love it. When I was studying for fall semester exams, Mom used to take it out and set it up in the front window for me so I'd have company while I stayed up really late studying. I would often stay up the whole night studying for an exam the next morning and I used to turn this little tree on and just stare at it for ages sometimes. Seeing it always made it that much easier to study because I knew that once my exams were over it'd be Christmas and I always loved Christmas. It now takes prominence in my living room and I still love it as much as I always did. It still reminds me of all the studying all those years ago.
