Bye, bye sick tree

It had to be done. It was time. Today, we (Derek) cut down the half dead, ant infested tree that was in a very over grown and dated bed in our front yard. It was a big tree. Derek needed his chain saw. He spent hours digging up the roots. We decided that the entire bed needed to be taken up. So we did and this is what's left of it. I don't really want to put anything back in it's place. I think it would be too much for the smallish yard and I'd rather concentrate on the bed directly in front of the veranda. But I think Derek wants to replant something here. We'll see.
