It's tulip season

Every year for three weeks in May, Ottawa hosts the National Tulip Festival. There are something like 3 million bulbs planted all over the city. I love tulips. This is my first year really seeing them en mass, though. Last year it was rainy and cold the entire three weeks so that was a bust. This year we made more of an effort. I love these pink tulips. I actually wanted pink tulips for my wedding bouquet but they were out of season.
